About the Awards
Acclaimed Chef Jean Banchet will present medals in a presentation of The Jean Banchet Awards for Culinary Excellence. This is the only Chicago-based awards presentation that recognizes and rewards culinary originality and talent in the Chicagoland area. Forty exceptional chefs, sommeliers, restaurants and catering companies have been nominated for the third annual Chicago awards presentation that honors culinary distinction – The “Culinary Cabinet” and “Event Planners Cabinet” that include respected local food critics and writers. The winners were selected by all participating and nominated chefs voting by secret ballot.
